For students in The University of Findlay’s College of Business, learning extends beyond the traditional classroom setting.

The department strongly encourages students to broaden their perspective and understanding of the theories of business by participating in overseas, internship and sales blitz programs.

Department faculty have led trips to Switzerland to study international business, to Japan to study business culture, and to various cities throughout the United States for intimate, in-depth, week long sales blitzes and co-ops.

In addition to these international opportunities, the College of Business at The University of Findlay offers a range of hands-on learning experiences that are closer to campus.

Department faculty are also active advocates of students gaining internship experiences. Faculty members serve as liaisons between students and institutions to assist with the coordination of internship opportunities at area organizations such as Dana Corporation, Cooper Tire & Rubber, Marathon Oil Company, and Whirlpool Corporation.

Qualified and selected Operations & Logistics majors participate in internship programs with the above firms and other smaller firms in our area in order to learn with hands on experience in a real world atmosphere.
