The College of Sciences welcomes Mr. Brant Rhoad as an alumni speaker for the 125th Anniversary Celebration. Brant's presentation is entitled
The Science of Law
and will describe how he incorporates his science education into his current law practice. His talk is scheduled for Monday, September 17th at 7:00 PM in Martin Lecture Hall. All faculty, staff, students, and community members are welcome to attend.
Brant graduated from The University of Findlay in 2000 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. He continued his graduate work at The Ohio State University where he earned a juris doctor degree in 2003.
Brant is currently an associate attorney with Scherner & Sybert, LLC. He represents individuals and their families who are injured or killed by the negligence of others including, but not limited to, victims of automobile, semi tractor-trailer, boat, train, plane, and ATV accidents. He also represents and counsels employers with the Ohio Workers' Compensation System, including defending and resolving claims and minimizing workers' compensation premiums.
