Re-Admission for Former Students
If a student wishes to re-enroll at Findlay after withdrawing, contact should be made with the Office of Graduate and Professional Studies. Re-admission is not guaranteed but will be considered on the basis of the student's previous record at Findlay and any other institutions attended in the interim.
A re-entry student who has been away from Findlay for more than two calendar years (other than for a leave of absence) will be subject to the graduation requirements in effect at re-entry.
All
undergraduate
suspension appeals are handled through the
Suspension Review Committee
which is chaired by the Executive Director of the Academic Support Center. Students are required to sit out one semester, but the Committee has the option, based on the appeal, to require a second semester of suspension before allowing a student to return. The committee also has the authority to specify conditions under which the student is allowed to return. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, the number of hours a student may take, the selection of courses, and meetings with the Career Planning Office or with the Counseling Center. Here is the link to the
Suspension Appeal form
.
All
graduate
degree seeking students who recieve three grades of "C+" or below will be suspended from the University for a period of one year.
Students seeking to return after the period of one year will need to submit a letter of reinstatement to the Dean of Graduate and Professional studies.
