Early Entrance
[Be] an Early Oiler!This program assists public high schools in the local area by providing an Early Entrance Option for qualified high school students.Any High School Student (9th through 12th grade) who is interested in the Post-Secondary program and maintains a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA should schedule an appointment with his or her high school guidance counselor to determine appropriate course selection. This meeting should be repeated prior to the beginning of each new semester at The University of Findlay. Eligible students may enroll in a maximum of 9 credit hours per semester at the 100 or 200 level. If the high school counselor decides that the student may select any courses he or she wants, it must be put in writing on the course selection sheet and signed by the counselor. A high school junior or senior with a 4.0 cumulative GPA or above may enroll at The University of Findlay full time, taking up to 18 credit hours per semester. The student must have enough available Carnegie Units from the high school to support a full time schedule at the University. In addition to meeting with the high school counselor, the student will also be required to attend advising sessions with the Coordinator of the Post Secondary Program at The University of Findlay. There are two options available within the Early Entrance Program:
