The University of Findlay and its men’s basketball team invites all fans to Croy Gymnasium at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 16, for a celebration of the Oilers historic 36-0 season. 

The Oilers players and coaches want to interact and applaud the fans for their support during their national championship run.

Fans will have the opportunity to mingle with players and coaches, take pictures with their favorite student-athletes and receive autographs from the entire team.

The first 1,000 fans to enter the gate, which opens at 6:30 p.m., will also receive a 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship poster, courtesy of the Kennedy Printing Co.

Highlight DVDs, by Zulauf Productions, of the Oilers magical run will be available for purchase as well at the event.  The DVDs can be purchased for $20.

Mayor Pete Sehnert also will be on hand to present a proclamation honoring the Oilers undefeated season, culminating with the 2009 NCAA Division II National Championship.
