Families, individuals and groups are welcome to visit the museum, which is open to the public Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, noon to 5 p.m., and Sundays, 1 to 4 p.m. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The museum also is open other times by appointment; call 419-434-5521.

The world’s first and largest museum devoted to literacy and the art of children’s picture books, the museum welcomes more than 10,000 visitors each year.
