WLFC Makes Changes to Weekend Programming
Wednesday, June 10, 2009

The University of Findlay’s campus radio station, WLFC 88.3, has made several changes to its weekend programming mix:

Saturday
•    Midnight to 7 a.m., WLFC heritage rock; an eclectic mix of rock from the 1960s to the 1980s (and maybe some cuts from the 1990s, too).

•    7 to 9 a.m., Vintage Rock Radio with Mike Yunis; Mike is a former WLFC general manager (1978-1980). He will count down national and regional hits from the 1970s to the 1990s.

•    9 a.m. to 6 p.m., WLFC heritage rock.

•    6 to 7 p.m., Dr. Duck’s Guitar Prescription; this show is all about guitar – all genres of guitar. If you like good guitar playing, you’ll like this show. And if you do not, you probably won’t.

•    7 to 9 p.m., Vintage Rock Radio with Mike Yunis.

•    9 p.m. to 2 a.m., Mainstream metal; the key word: mainstream.

Sunday
•    2 to 5 a.m., WLFC heritage rock.

•    5 to 6 a.m., Dr. Duck’s Guitar Prescription.

•    6 a.m. to noon, Contemporary Christian music.

•    Noon to 1 p.m., Findlay Rewind; memorable music performances from UF ensembles, choirs, etc.

•    1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Jazz; smooth and classical jazz with a dash of fusion.

•    7 p.m. until the next weekend, indie rock.
