U.S. News & World Report​

The University of Findlay has earned top rankings in U.S. News & World Report​'s annual survey of “America’s Best Colleges” for 16 consecutive years. Findlay ranks No. 263 out of 392 universities on the 2022 Best National Universities list. UF was also named​ one of the "2022 Best Graduate Schools" for Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy​.  


Princeton Review

The Princeton Review recognized the University of Findlay as one of the best four-year institutions in the Midwest for 2021. Its annual rankings, based on student surveys and data, recognize "academically outstanding" schools.


Money Magazine

Money Magazine listed UF as the No. 4th Best College For Merit Aid in the United States​ in their May 2019 issue. Findlay was also​ named one of the best colleges in America for 2018. A total of 727 made the list, with the University of Findlay placing 338.


Wall Street Journal

The University of Findlay was named to the 2021 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education  College Rankings. We are particularly proud of this honor because it is a result of surveys designed to answer questions that matter most to students and families including: "Does the college have plenty of resources to teach me properly?" "Will I get enough access to my teacher?" and "How likely am I to graduate, pay off my loans and get a good job?"

UF was named the Best Private University in Ohio and 7th ​overall in Ohio out of 188 higher education institutions in 2021 by Inrelligent.com. Of 239 degree programs that were compared, multiple UF programs were ranked very highly for the following categories: Doctorate in Education Programs, Master’s in Environmental Management Degree Programs, Veterinary Programs, Master's in Science Education Programs, Master's in Teaching Degree Programs, and Master's in Public Safety Administration Degree Programs.

Ranked #1 in the country by College Factual as the Best College Affiliated As Church of God: Nationwide. UF's Health Professions programs also ranked in the top 1% for being the most focused.​

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll

UF is named to Phi Theta Kappa's Community College Transfer Honor Roll for providing students from those institutions with exceptional pathways to four-year degrees. UF is one of 40 named to the inaugural list compiled by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, which recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students by providing leadership and service opportunities. 




Military Friendly

Victory Media Inc. 

Victory Media Inc. named the University to its Military Friendly Schools(R) list for 2013, 2011, 2010 and 2017. The list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools the at are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans and spouses as students to ensure their success on campus.

Chronicle of Higher Education

In 2012, UF was recognized as one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to a survey by the Chronicle of Higher Education. The results are based on a survey of more than 46,000 employees at 294 colleges and universities. In all, only 103 of the 294 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies. The University of Findlay won honors in the Facilities, Workspace, and Security category.
