Orientation Weekend Officially begins with Move-In Day on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 1:30 - 6:30 p.m.!
Before you start carrying your stuff to your new home, you need to stop at the Alumni Memorial Union, check-in for orientation and pick up the key to your room. When you pick up your key, you will meet members of the Residence Life team as well as other staff at UF. They will all be there to answer any questions you have.
There will also be staff from the Office of Advancement by the fireplace in the Alumni Memorial Union who will be there to help you with move-in. Stop by and grab a water and snacks!
Once you have your key, you can head back to your car to start moving your stuff in. We will have many volunteers stationed by the parking lots and along with the drop-off areas ready to help you carry all of your things to your new home. So you don't need to worry about bringing a lot of people with you to help. We have you covered. However, you might want to bring your family to help you decide how to arrange your room and where to put your TV.
