​Environmental, Safety and Health Strand​ - Degree Completion

​Advance your career in the environmental, safety and health management industries by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in business management with an emphasis on environmental, safety and health.

Findlay’s program is designed to encompass the latest trends, standards, and policies in the environmental safety and health fields. The curriculum is regularly updated and revised by experienced faculty who consult with federal agencies, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, state agencies as well as leaders in the automotive, petrochemical and manufacturing industries.

This online program incorporates core business courses along with the industry-specific curriculum for a well-rounded business management degree that will help advance or transition your career in the environmental safety and health management industries. As a part of the online bachelor's degree completion program, the 63 semester hours required for the degree completion program consist of 21 semester hours of general education and 42 semester hours of major courses. All courses are worth three semester hours. General education courses are interdisciplinary in nature, integrating two or more academic areas. Some courses from four-year institutions may be transferred to substitute some of the 63 hours required for the degree completion program. A minimum of 30 hours must be taken at the University of Findlay.
