Commencement Events
Graduate Commencement Ceremony
Saturday, May 10, 2025 • 9 a.m.
Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex, 1300 N. Main St., Findlay, OH
8 a.m. doors open.
8:15 a.m. students must report to the Student Recreation Center. Caps, gowns and hoods are required. Staff will be available to help you prepare for the procession.
9 a.m. the formal procession will begin promptly. Guests should be seated and ready for the procession. Arch ceremony will follow after formal ceremony.
Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony
Saturday, May 10, 2025 • 3 p.m.
Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex, 1300 N. Main St., Findlay, OH
2 p.m. doors open.
2:15 p.m. students must report to the Student Recreation Center. Caps and gowns are required. Staff will be available to help you prepare for the procession.
3 p.m. the formal procession will begin promptly. Guests should be seated and ready for the procession. Arch ceremony will follow after formal ceremony.
Additional Information
Academic Regalia
All graduates must wear appropriate apparel in order to participate in commencement. Please place your order through the University Bookstore at 301 Davis St., between the normal business hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday or 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday. There is a $100 (tax included) charge for a full undergraduate commencement unit. The master’s commencement full unit price is $140 (tax included). All PharmD and DPT doctoral regalia will be $180 (tax included). The last day to order commencement regalia will be April 26.
You may call the bookstore at 419-434-4561 or stop by at your convenience to place your order. Orders may be picked up beginning Thursday, April 17, at Senior Salute or during the normal business hours at the bookstore beginning April 18.
Disability Accommodations
Contact Heather Vennekotter, Director of Accommodation and Academic Support Center, at 419-434-5532. Parking for people with disabilities will be available in front (east side) and behind the Koehler Fitness and Recreation Complex (west side). Closed captioning is available during the ceremonies.
Flowers and Teddy Bears
Flowers or teddy bears for your graduate will be available for purchase the day of.
Outstanding Bills
Make sure all financial requirements of the University have been satisfied by contacting the Business Office at 419-434-4690.
Photography
We have arranged for a photo to be taken of each graduate receiving his or her diploma. Please allow two weeks for delivery of proofs. You may also order online at graduationfoto.com. Photos of the arch ceremony may be downloaded by going to flickr.com/photos/uf_images/
You must register to receive your photos of either ceremony.
Arch Ceremonies
- Families and friends who wish to observe the Arch Ceremony in-person may assemble on the lawn in front of Old Main at the conclusion of the Commencement Ceremonies. There will be a short pause after Commencement to allow time to arrive at the Arch.

Families and friends must stay within the designated boundaries to observe the ceremony.
- UF will have photographers at the Arch and will post photos of graduates to
Flickr.
- Following the conclusion of the Arch Ceremony, graduates and family are welcome to take pictures around campus and around the Arch.

Order Commencement Regalia
Graduates are required to wear official UF regalia.
