​​Graduate Assistantships​

This site is the primary location for information about graduate assistantships.  When information about graduate assistantships becomes available, faculty, staff, and students will be able to find out information on the graduate assistantship webpage.​

A full-time graduate assistantship position is generally intended to be for the fall and spring semester of the specified academic year. There are three levels of annual graduate assistantship awards as indicated below:


Graduate Assistants (GA) - General work duties.         

  • $10.10/hr (Effective Jan. 2023)

  • Full time position is expected to work 20 hours per week         

  • Students may receive 3, 6, or 12 graduate credit hours of tuition remission, depending on position, per academic year (not to exceed $7800.00 per year)

Teaching Assistants (TA) - Assist faculty with teaching duties.       

  • $7,200 stipend for 20 hours per week         
  • Students may receive 3, 6, or 12 graduate credit hours of tuition remission, depending on position, per academic year (not to exceed $7800.00 per year)

Research Assistants (RA) - Assist faculty with research activities.         

  • $7,200 stipend for 20 hours per week
