On-Site Services in the Library
You may use Shafer Library and its resources during regular open hours. The library offers wireless guest access so that you may use your own laptop to search the library’s online databases.
Borrowing Books
Both UF alumni and community patrons have several options to borrow materials from Shafer Library and from other libraries in Ohio.
Off-Site Access To Article & Specialized Databases
Most of Shafer Library’s databases are subscription services that have strict requirements of usage as defined by their licensing agreements. Typically only current UF students, faculty, and staff may use them. However, for those who are Ohio residents, you may still have access to some of these or other
