Findlay Green Campus Initiative (FGCI) is a group of volunteer faculty and staff whose mission is to empower the entire UF community to adopt an environmentally conscious culture and continually improve the sustainability practices of the institution. FGCI works in partnership with the student-led, Green Campus Club, to help our campus "Love Orange, Live Green."
Your gift could support "Love Orange, Live Green" initiatives such as:
- Campus recycling
- Recycle Cycle - an FGCI program that provides used bicycles in good condition for purchase to students at a discounted rate
- Move Out, Pitch In - an annual event planned by FGCI and Campus Ministries that is dedicated to helping students recycle and donate unwanted household, clothing, and non-perishable foods during move out
- Bottle Caps to Benches Program - an FGCI program in partnership with Green Tree Plastics that takes plastic bottle caps and transforms them into benches and tables
- Any new green initiatives on our campus
