Once a year, the Findlay community gathers together for the Unity Dinner event. Bringing together students from different backgrounds, the Unity Dinner serves to create an environment of diversity learning through food. Each table is given a different cultural issue to research and discuss. At the end of the night, each table presents on their topic and showcases different perspectives. These dinners are a way for students in different majors or student organizations to meet other students outside of their regular social circle.
The topic of the most recent Unity Dinner was 'Unity in Diversity'. Each table was tasked with creating an image which represented that idea and then discussed why they chose that image, and the different perspectives at their table.
