Oilers Exploring Beyond the Arch is an open-house reception designed to provide a forum for the public sharing of information and ideas related to University of Findlay Oilers' activities that happen off-campus. Students present posters that highlight their intercultural, international, and service and community engagement experiences "beyond" the Findlay community. Attendees enjoy the chance to speak one-on-one with students about these potentially transformative experiences.
"Being a part of Oilers Exploring Beyond the Arch means that I can share my cross-cultural experiences, international service opportunities, and global insights with the University campus and community. It is amazing to see students who have lived within many cultures across the globe come together in one place to inspire others to seek international opportunities that will not only further their studies but expand their outlook on the world. No matter your major, ethnicity, gender, age, or background, it only takes a little courage to break down the cultural barriers and explore the world beyond the arch."
