As Dean of the College of Pharmacy, I am pleased to welcome you to our website. We intend for this site to be a useful source of information for future students as well as for parents, alumni, friends of th​e College and any other visitor.

The mission of the College of Pharmacy is to prepare pharmacists to be dedicated to improving patients’ lives through practice, service, and research. We value innovation in teaching methods, practical learning experiences, individual and intellectual curiosity, life-long learning, professional leadership and personal qualities of honesty, integrity and respect. Service-learning is key part of our program. We believe that continual exposure of our students to a variety of patient care settings and research opportunities complements classroom learning and provides the optimal learning experience.

Our program capitalizes on the combination of our faculty members’ experiences and the “best practices” they bring with them from a variety of settings, and the youth and energy of a growing program. Our class sizes are relatively small, allowing us to provide individualized attention to our students and to produce graduates who are extremely competitive in the field of pharmacy.

Our program’s direct admission into the College of Pharmacy encourages students to collaborate with one another to get the very most out of their learning experience and their time at The University of Findlay. We are extremely well-positioned as leaders in the education of pharmacists.
