Research Opportunities

Findlay’s College of Pharmacy orchestrates research in a variety of areas. Students are able to join faculty in their research pursuits and can complete their own research work with the support of faculty and resources of the academic labs.

Research is a required part of Findlay’s curriculum, typically completed in student’s fourth or fifth year. For students that are passionate about research and enjoy the science side of pharmacy, there are opportunities starting in their first year to work in a lab with a professor on their own research projects.

ARCH
College of Pharmacy students at Findlay are not only authoring articles, but publishing them as well. Using a free, open platform, the student-run Annual Review of Changes in Healthcare (ARxCH), publishes an annual journal focusing on updates on medications, regulations and new or revised guidelines. Authors can submit a paper through the ARxCH site and will receive notification if it’s accepted. The UF pharmacy students review all submissions and have the opportunity to act as an editor for the publication.
