University of Findlay's Environmental, Safety and Health Management Master's Degree is one of only nine schools to be accredited by the National Environmental Health, Science and Protection Accreditation Council (EHAC).
EHAC accreditation is well respected nation and worldwide for two major reasons:
- Scientific rigor of requirements
- Practice-based internship requirement for all graduates
EHAC requires a firm educational foundation in the natural sciences of biology, chemistry, physics and geology. This combined with a requirement for the completion of a practical, hands-on internship results in graduates that are well prepared to immediately enter the environmental health workforce or continue their academic journeys.*
Benefits of Attending an Accredited Graduate Program:
- You will meet the requirement to enter the US Public Health Service (USPHS) and US Army and Navy Environmental Science and Engineering careers.
- You will meet the criteria to take the Registered Environmental Health Specialist/Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS) upon graduation.
