Western Youth Horsemanship School

The University of Findlay is presenting a youth western horsemanship school to further educate interested riders. The school offers the same techniques that are taught in the University’s Western Equestrian Studies Program.

Novice/Intermediate Session (ages 10-18): June 20-June 24, 2024

Advanced Rider Session (ages 12-19): June 24-June 28, 2024

Students applying for the Advanced Rider Session must submit a video of their riding or letter of recommendation. Acceptance is based on approval by equestrian staff.

There are a limited number of horses available for lease at each session for the additional cost of $100. If you are not planning on bringing your own horse, please call the Western office at 419-434-4656 to confirm horse availability.
