    Biography:
    Dr. Schneider graduated with his PharmD in 2005 from Ohio Northern University and completed his Ph.D. in pharmacology in 2010 from The Ohio State University. Following his passions for teaching and research, he joined the faculty at the University of Findlay, College of Pharmacy in 2011 and is currently Department Chair and Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Dr. Schneider primarily teaches the oncology and endocrinology courses offered to second and third-year professional-year pharmacy students in addition to several elective courses, including a pharmacy leadership course.  


    Dr. Schneider maintains an active research laboratory and mentors several undergraduate and graduate pharmacy students on projects related to anti-cancer drug discovery. He has a passion for pharmacy advocacy and is a Past President of the Ohio Pharmacists Association (OPA). He continues to serve the profession of pharmacy by serving on multiple committees at OPA, including the Ad Hoc Committee on Work Force Issues that he commissioned as President.


    Dr. Schneider also serves as Associate Dean of Operations and Effectiveness in the College of Pharmacy. In this role, he leads the college’s efforts related to admissions and recruiting, oversees strategic partnerships for early-assurance programs, as well as provides oversight and support to the college’s Distance Education Pathway to a PharmD.
