    Prior to 1997, Dr. Murphy was employed in the environmental remediation, environmental emergency response and public health fields since 1981. During this time he gained valuable knowledge in working with the public and implementation of inspection and enforcement programs as a public health sanitarian. The following 14 years were spent in the environmental remediation field employed as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Site Supervisor, Health and Safety Officer, and Technical Foreman.

    Research Interests
    Primary interests include public health workforce development, public health leadership issues and environmental sustainability management.

      University Recognition
