    Teaching Experience:

    Dr. Abels joined The University of Findlay as an Assistant Professor in 2006 where she teaches Accounting at the undergraduate and graduate levels within the College of Business.  Abels has published numerous articles in both professional and business journals, and she has presented at many international, national, state, and local professional conferences.  She serves as manuscript reviewer for Corporate Governance: An International Review, Management Research Review, Journal of Contemporary Business Issues among other professional journals.  Abels earned her Bachelor’s degree in both Accounting and Finance from The Ohio State University, her Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ashland University, and she has an earned doctorate in Accounting from The University of Sarasota.
