Dr. Katherine Rowe Fell has served as the president of the University of Findlay since July 2010. In her years as its president, the University has seen strong enrollment, added several graduate and undergraduate programs and completed successful fundraising campaigns. It continues to carry out the mission of preparing students for meaningful lives and productive careers.
Growing up in the south, home of such literary greats as William Faulkner and Flannery O'Connor, it's not surprising that Katherine's choice of educational pursuits reflected a love of education and literature. She earned her bachelor of science in education from Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia, Arkansas, and a master of arts in English from Louisiana Technical University in Ruston, Louisiana. After completing her Ph.D. in English at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, Dr. Fell began her career in higher education as an English professor at Centenary College, Shreveport, Louisiana.
