Sachiyo, Isoda, Peterson コロンバスのボーリス・セーター・シーモア・アンド・ピース法律事務所のパートナーの一員で、移民法、雇用法(I-9)を専門とし、グローバル企業が人材確保を円滑に行えるためのサポートを担当している。クライアントは多岐にわたり、製造業、小売業、農業企業、また大学、医療機関へもサポートを扱う。個人的な移民法サービスを担当することもある。ケンタッキー大学学士号、オハイオ州立大学法学博士。アメリカ移民法協会に属し、セントラルオハイオ・アジア太平洋系弁護士会の前会長。現セントラルオハイオ日米協会理事。
Sachiyo is a partner in the
Vorys Columbus office. She counsels and assists clients in the highly complex area of immigration, nationality, and employer sanctions (I-9) law. She focuses her practice on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for her clients’ global workforces. She helps clients maintain seamless business processes, including the attraction and the retention of international talent. Her practice spans various industries, including manufacturing, retail, universities, health care, agriculture and other corporations. At times, she also assists in family-based immigration matters.
Sachiyo is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and is a past president and current board member of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Central Ohio. Sachiyo is also a board member of the Japan-America Society of Central Ohio (JASCO).
Sachiyo received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky.

Benjamin Shepler コロンバスのボーリス・セーター・シーモア・アンド・ピース法律事務所のパートナーの一員で、労務・雇用グループに属している。専門は、従業員管理に関する規律、雇用時の雇用環境整備、解雇を含む労務関係のコンプライアンスである。州、連邦法廷で中小企業から大企業まで様々なクライアントのケースを扱い、またそれぞれの企業の特性とニーズに基づいた、従業員ハンドブック、企業ルール、契約書の整備などのサービスも提供する。ミズーリ大学にて学士号、オハイオ州立大学にて法学博士号を取得。労務・雇用法ワークショップの講師として活躍し、ハラスメント問題発生の防止、労働組合への対処、育児介護休業法(Family and Medical Leave Act)へのコンプライアンスなどのトピックについて講演している。
Ben is a partner in the
Vorys Columbus office and a member of the labor and employment group. He counsels clients on legal compliance and day-to-day workforce management issues, including employee discipline, accommodation, and termination decisions. Ben represents employers of all sizes before administrative agencies and in federal and state courts throughout the country. He also drafts employee handbooks, policies, and employment contracts designed to reflect employers’ unique business and legal needs.
Ben is a frequent speaker on a full range of employment law topics and has conducted training for human resources professionals and front line managers on topics including harassment prevention, union awareness, and compliance with the Family and Medical Leave Act.
Ben received his J.D. summa cum laude from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and served as a managing editor of The Ohio State Law Journal. He received his B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Missouri.
