AYA Social Studies

Teach Social Studies to students in 7th grade, 8th grade and high school.

The subject of social studies combines history with current events, geography, and philosophical principals behind systems of government. This allows students to make connections between the past and present and develop their critical thinking skills. With a degree in AYA Integrated Social Studies from the University of Findlay, you will guide young adults to create educated opinions about current events and become analysts for life.

University of Findlay’s Adolescent Young Adult Education program will prepare you for a career in teaching with the ability to double major in education and history
