It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) Program. The MSHI is a great opportunity for candidates with a bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer science or other related fields of study who are seeking to expand their career opportunities. Health Informatics offers a variety of courses designed to bridge clinical and technology studies together and is considered to be a 21st-century field of study for the healthcare world.

The Master of Science in Health Informatics consists of 33 semester hours of graduate credit. The Certificate of Health Informatics consists of 17 semester hours of graduate credit. Courses are delivered in eight-week blocks, per semester.
The mission of the Health Informatics Program is to prepare individuals to influence the future of healthcare through the use of technology. Therefore, the curriculum fosters the development of critical thinking, problem solving and scholarship.
