diverse and challenging profession whose practitioners are found in a variety of settings. The Social Work
Program will expose you to the knowledge, values and skills that comprise the foundation of the social work
profession.
The undergraduate major in social work emphasizes:

The University of Findlay has created a clear path from the Social Work Program to the Doctor of Occupational
Therapy Program with coursework, research and experiential learning opportunities that directly relate to
occupational therapy. In four years, students studying social work earn a bachelor’s degree in social work and
may apply to go on to pursue a degree in occupational therapy, which is a three-year program. A doctoral
degree in occupational therapy prepares students to not only practice occupational therapy, but also fulfill
leadership roles and advanced positions in the field.

you gain experience in a variety of settings.

employment or entered graduate school within three

graduation rate over the past four years.

on the licensure exam and are able to meet all
requirements to obtain that professional licensure
