A message of thanks from the Dean of the College of Health Professions, Dr. Richard States
To our Oiler alumni, faculty, staff, and friends working on the front line of health care through COVID-19,
The University of Findlay values your health and well-being. I know that our alumni, faculty, staff and students are out there working hard in these trying times. For that, we thank you!
It has been several months since a novel strand of the coronavirus was discovered in Wuhan, China. As the pandemic continues, many are self-isolating. However, for those healthcare workers, like you, who are keeping us safe – Nurses, Physician Assistants, Athletic Trainers, Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, Echocardiographers, Exercise Science Professionals, Gerontology Professionals, Health Informatics Professionals, Healthcare Managers, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Positron Emission Tomography technologists, Social Workers, Strength and Conditioning Professionals, Substance Use Disorder Professionals, Wellness and Exercise Professionals and others – self-isolation is not an option.
I am thankful for all the skilled, dedicated and compassionate alumni, students, staff, faculty, and families throughout Oiler Nation! You are always thinking ahead and routinely go above and beyond to ensure the very best and outstanding care. This collaboration and commitment of Oiler Nation is the lifeblood of our organization and makes me extremely proud and grateful to be a part of it.
And finally, I am thankful to the people that place their trust in us every day. We are honored and know that it is a privilege to be part of such a great team!
Thank you so much,
Dr. Richard B. States
College of Health Professions Dean
