Eric Phillips


2012 University of Findlay graduate in Biology with minor in Chemistry. Married to a fellow UF Alumni. We have two beautiful, talented, and adventurous daughters. Currently working as a Regional Environmental Manager at Valicor Environmental Services covering environmental compliance for six facilities across three states. Certified Environmental Professional – IT through the Academy of Board-Certified Environmental Professionals.  Since graduating and starting my career at Valicor I have received three promotions within the company and have developed numerous standing programs within Valicor and alongside the Ohio EPA. Handle all water, air, and solid waste permits in my region which includes monitoring and reporting to various local, state, and federal officials.

Marianne Curry


Marianne is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in internal medicine.  Originally from Murray, Kentucky, she initially became a registered dietician (Murray State University) followed by obtaining her bachelor of science physician assistant training from the University of Findlay.  She went on to obtain a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Marianne has been practicing as a physician assistant with Dr. Parminder Singh in Marion, OH since becoming certified.  She currently lives in Galena, OH with her husband and three active children and is the reigning Mrs. Ohio America.

Scott Mangas


Scott received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toledo in 1990. He graduated with dual certifications in Elementary grades 1-8 and 3 degrees (ED, SLD, ID) in special education grades K-12. He received his master’s degree from THE University of Findlay in 2000 and went on to get his Principal’s license followed up with a Superintendent’s license all through the University of Findlay.

Scott is in his 30th year in education. He has taught sixth grade, Middle School SLD, High School ID, and SLD.  He has been the elementary principal at Ottoville for the past 22 years. Mr. Mangas has served as both the Elementary principal and superintendent for the last 12 years. He is very passionate about educating our special needs population.

Mr. Mangas presently serves on the Executive Committee for BASA (Buckeye Association of School Administrators). BASA is the professional organization for Ohio School Superintendents.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the North West Ohio Educational Research Council. This organization offers several in-services for Ohio superintendents each year. Scott is the President of the Putnam County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

He has been married to Jill for 26 years and has two daughters, Taylor who is an Occupational Therapist, and Brooke who is a junior Intervention Specialist education major at the University of Findlay. 


William “Bill” Rumbold


Bill Rumbold has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He has held various positions in marketing, training, and sales. He has been responsible for the successful launch of several billion-dollar pharmaceutical products.

Bill is an active volunteer with the Senior Corps of Retired Executives mentoring small businesses and is currently the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Medicasafe, a New York-based medical device company. He currently serves on the University of Findlay Communication Advisory Board and is a member of the Alumni Board of Governors. He received this B.A. in Speech 1974 and an M.A. in Business Communications from Bowling Green State University.


Dr. Gerald Jackson


Prior to earning his doctor of pharmacy from UF, Gerald earned a B.S in Psychology from The Ohio State University and a Masters Degree in Public Administration. Following graduation from Findlay, he went on to work for CVS Health for several years before joining the Kroger Corporation, where he is currently employed. In 2019, Dr. Jackson became a Generation RX Educator in partnership with Cardinal Health and The Ohio State University to educate the community and all ages on the facets of dealing with the Opioid Epidemic. He also began to serve as a contractor with Columbus Public Schools to discuss opioid abuse and how children can live with a parent suffering from addiction, which he continues today. Related to these efforts, Dr. Jackson is the owner and operator of RX.EDU, a consulting company contracted to conduct training and education in medication safety, opioid addiction, misuse and abuse of OTC and prescription drugs.

In addition to establishing RX.EDU, he has also demonstrated entrepreneurism in the establishment of “Dr. Gerald’s Famous Butters. Skin Care Product used to treat Pain, Inflammation, Eczema, Neuropathy and Dry Skin”.

Gerald has helped fight the COVID pandemic as a contracted healthcare provider for Genesis Reference Labs. With them, he has organized drive-thru’s and offered COVID-19 testing since March 2019. Currently testing individuals for Covid-19 via Mobile Service and is coordinating vaccine clinics as far away as St. Louis, MO. On a local level, Dr. Jackson serves as a Board Member for Second Ward Community Initiative (SWCI) of Delaware, Ohio.

His passion for learning, education, serving the community, and entrepreneurism make him an excellent example of a successful UF alum (PharmD, 2011) and an inspiration to the UF community.
